National Hip
Real kicks off with 'Bath Salt',Parajumpers Norge, a new synth heavy track in which finds LL reverting back to his trash talking ways. "I don't act my boot size, I take action my age/Never try to appear to be a rapper I raised/Bald as being a tiger, can't develop no waves/But the full money's coming in, in 360 waves," Lmost all raps.
The albums subsequent track, 'Not Leaving You Tonight' frames LL with Eddie Van Halen and Fitz The Tantrumsodd. The mixing of genres drops flat as Lmost all Cool J mails in his lyrics and also Van Halen shows up for an out of place guitar single.
'We Came to Party' resurrects the yelling version of LL and features Snoop Dogg and Fatman Scoop. Produced by Jaylien,Parajumpers, the observe features the same guitar riff from LL's 1988 song 'Going Back to Cali'. Neat J rhymes, "Ain't not an issue I own it, earliest man in the club/Also one of many richest, beckyalascio, hundred baby bottles of bub."
Shouting LL returns around the Chuck D aided, 'Whaddup'. Tom Morello,www.jehudasaar.com/category/parajumpers-jakke-norge/, Travis Barker, canada goose rea, and ZTrip support bring the noises on the track as well as despite their huge talent level the actual song fails to wow.
The album's current single 'Live For You' capabilities country singer Kaira Paisley. Thankfully the tune is not as embarrassing because the muchpublicized 'Accidental Racist' from Paisley and Cool L, but it's cringeworthy nonetheless.
Real is a mix of good ole' and love music that come off as confusing. Eighteen in the past LL and the Trackmasters made magic, now, not really much. We all know Ladies Love Cool James so the overabundance of female themed tracks is expected. LL venturing into rock is a little unexpected though. It's also strange that the original subject for Authentic had been "Authentic Hip Hop'. Two of the photos bonus tracks, which can be produced by DJ Most recognized and Marley Marl respectively, strike their marks. All of those other album should have seemed like those songs.
